On November 19th, CERTIS renewed the protocols for the certification process of the iconic Torta de Viana, for another 3 years.
These protocols were signed by CERTIS and representatives of ten confectioneries in the city and municipality.
A very important ceremony for everyone involved, which was also attended by the Mayor of Viana do Castelo, Luís Nobre.
We are proud to be part of this process that guarantees the authenticity and excellence of this regional sweet from Viana do Castelo.
Certification assures consumers that they are choosing a product of local origin and recognized quality.
This initiative values traditional sweets and reinforces Torta de Viana as a symbol of Portuguese gastronomic culture.
